Try using the basic Win98 bootup disk and use FDisk. Don't use the XP formatting program. After you get to DOS from the disk bootup, just type fdisk and you'll be able to partition your HD using FAT32. After you partition your drives and reformatted them, install WinXP and install to...
You could try disconnecting the two drives via Properties in Device Manager and physically from your computer. Clean the dust away, reconnect and Add New Hardware. See if your computer re-recongizes the two drives and is still able to read the drives. -----

Your problem could be a simple matter of hardware connection. Meaning, dust could be interfering with the communication from your CD-ROM. Depending on what version of Windows you have, the problem shouldn't be too difficult to fix. I had a similar problem with my floppy drive and CD-ROM drive...

Hope this helps somewhat.
When you uninstalled the program, did you make sure you deleted the shared files as well (if it asked you)? Did you also make sure you uninstalled the SR1 packs? Also try deleting the original folder that the program was saved into. If this doesn't work, try running scandisk or if you have...
Depending on what version of Windows you are using or if you're using Linux or a Mac. You can set up a separate user account (say for school purposes) and then for that account, disable printing capabilities from your Device Manager.
However, I cannot seem to find a way to disable printing...
I'm not familiar with programming but I have a "practical" solution to your problem, I hope.
1) Open your file where you want your original slides to be copied to
2) Click on Insert, Slides From File...
3) A "Slide Finder" window will pop up
4) Browse for your file that...
Depending on what version of Adobe Acrobat you are currently using, the regular Adobe Acrobat Reader that you can download straight from Adobe.com does not come with the program needed called Acrobat Distiller (which converts your .wpd or .doc files to the portable document format). Go to this...
