Please advise on the steps to reinstall Windows 98 SE on my Compaq Presario. I made the setup floppy disk. And just need some direction from there.

Depending on what kind of reinstall you want. Do you want a tabula rasa (clean slate) installation from scratch, or just reinstall over what you already have? For a clean install from scratch, backup all your important files, then pop in your bootup disk, format c:\. reinstall Win98. In your BIOS, you can change your bootup to read your CD-ROM 1st so the Win98 setup menu pops up when you reboot. Let me know what kind of reinstallation you want and i'll help.
