IP Office Trick

Hello,
Is there any trick to modify the configuration (enable and disable Outgoing Call Bar of a Specific User) of IP Office 500v2 using Network Services (Telnet, SSH, etc...)
 
Absolutely no way to get it with IPO, neither by using local dbase (Vmpro) because service providers use their own database and charging rates dynamically, depending on connection time or call destinations. As suggested some billings software could do something similar acting via CTI (to enable/disable users) but depending on their own rates which normally are not sinchronized with the provider ones.
 
Oh really? My working hotel configs disagree :)

Yep, Tiger can do it.

You set up two user rights barred and unbarred and then when a guest checks in or out, Tiger uses DLL files to automatically update the phone system config with the guests name or vacant and changes from barred to unbarred userright accordingly.

Gunnaro, Hotel software and billing are able to update system config, that's clear, but can't update rates because subjected to non linear and customized tariffation made by the SP
 
My statement still stands, I've 189 rates that updates. The only thing it doesn't is measuring the call length.
Solved that by using average figures for different type of calls (local are usually 3 minutes, intl. are 6, mobiles are 2 min.

System blocks on various parameters, frequency, same number repeatedly, length between calls, etc, etc.
If barred, they go to receptionist who takes a quick look at Xima C2G and determines if the guest will be allowed a new quota or not.

Tiger costs an arm and a leg, never sold a single one of them. My stuff works good enough for most of them.
