We have an Avaya IP Office ip600v2 v11.1 with a Comcast Sip trunk. The customer has asked from us to send out the station DID instead of the main number. We have tried various combinations of use internal data but only the main number goes out. Does anyone have any examples of programming they can share on how to accomplish this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

First thing you should find out is if your provider supports CID outbound manipulation. Some do natively and some charge for it as a service. Some only allow you to send numbers you actually own. I think that is where I would start.

The way we normally do it is if the extension looks like this:

7001234 (Extn Number)

and we want to display 0107001234

then we add the below to the ARS:

Number: 0N (use whatever prefix or whatever is already setup on the ARS)
Feature Code: Dial
Code: 0NSi010E

This tells it to send the Source number as 010{Extension number}. So if you run a sysmon trace or even look at the outbound call in system status it should show the correct number in the trace. If you aren't using the ARS and just routing calls out via a shortcode then the same applies to the shortcode. Just do it in the same configuration. Not sure how the system is set up. If you run the trace, the correct number shows up but the outbound call still shows up on the destination end as your main number then Comcast is forcing it for whatever reason on the trunk and you need to ask them to rectify that.
