I need to hire an Engineer who has real deep experience with G3r issues. I am battling Sync issues and it is getting worse as time goes on. I can not get support form local partners and AVAYA has not been returning phone calls. Long story.... Anyone know of where I can find this expertise that will be able to come on site for a day and look into my issues? Willing to pay T&M while onsite. site is in the Orange County, NY area.

YES - Had at one time a cabinet in LasVegas and one in Pennsylviania. They were removed before I got here.

I have 2 pri for local in ny, 2 for inbound 800 in ny, 1 for outbound ld in ny, i for local in canada, 2 for the pbx link to canada, and one for the link to a perdictive dialer in canada (total of 9 circuits active).

These are the only trunk groups left:

The circuits to canada for the remote cabinet are Point to Point Broadwing circuits. Trunk Group 16

Trunk Group 1 is the Point to Point to the Perdictive Dialer in Canada

Trunk Group 23 is the local canada voice PRI for DID locally.

you should use the 2 NY local circuits as your sunc sources

I just notice in the List Config DS1 that I posted that there are many DS1's that should not be there

I am only using:

2c19 - Trunk Group 1 - Canada Dialer
2b16 & 2b16 - Trunk Group 7 - Paetec Local Voice
2b09 - Trunk Group 8 - Qwest Outbound LD
1b14 - Trunk Group 10 - Qwest Inbound 800
1b16 - Trunk Group 12 - Qwest Inbound 800
4a17 & 4a16 - Trunk Group 16 - PBX Link to Canada
4a12 - Trunk Group 23 - Canada Local Voice

all of that software needs to be removed. first, if the ds1 members are in a trunk group, remove the channels. then remove the trunk group from any route patterns, then remove the trunk group, then remove ds1 board XX

Which ones can I safley remove? I have all the circuits I used for voice nad the point to points, but what about the fiber links, don't they use ds1's? I do not wan't to remove something that will break a link.

I just removed 4a11 to start, because I know I do not have 2 primus circuits anymore

lets remove the ds1's that are definitly not being used first.

ok

I removed most that I know are not being used. 2 remain that have the d channels still configured but we do not use them 1b11 and 1b12. Also I thing 1b11 in in the 'li sync' as the primary, what do I put in it's place and will this affect traffic?

Here is the List Signal. Can I remove Signal Group 3? There are no trunks defined in 1b11 and 1b12.

Also 1b11 shows up in "Disp Sync" as the Primary, what can I change that too?

Stored data are damaged. The H-adapter links both the Hardisk circuit card and the R-Media. Stored Data on the hardrive are damaged. Can you possibly save translation on the Removable media instead?

Enter save trans then press F5 for help... look for appropriate command to save the translation on the R-media disk.

If successful, save translation on the hardrive again then do "test stored-data" please paste the result of the test.

Tried:

'Save Trans Remov' = MSS Device Not Ready
'Save Trans Disk' = MSS Device Not Ready

Test Stored-data long:

STO-DATA 829 ABORT 1303
STO-DATA 831 ABORT 1303
STO-DATA 833 ABORT 1303

Code:
  R-Media State: out-of-service
     Disk Present? yes
       Disk State: out-of-service

You are not going to be able to save translations with this looking like this. Thats another problem to tackle. This could one of three things. It is going to be a matter of looking at red lights on these circuit packs and testing. You will have to restore these to service before attempting to save translations.

Cardman... Looks like you have an entire team of folks here willing to help you through your issue. I am glad your post has gained so much momentum!

Good luck with your quest!

Let RGTRGT help with the sync problems first and then we will get on the Host adaptor and MSSNET problems. This will need to be done to fix the Daily maintenance, stored data, disk and R-Media problems. But first we need to get rid of the popping on your lines.

This is great. I appreciate everyone's help!

I will be out of the office until wednesday. Hopefully I will have connection during my time away. I would like to tackle this sync issue, then the host adapter as Mikey stated.
