I have a non-profit that was donated an IP500 V2 9.0 Basic Edition. I did an erase configuration and reprogrammed. The only problem I encountered is that I am unable to re-record the mailbox names. I've logged in and pressed 5 for personal options, 5 to record name, recorded name and pressed 1. The recorded name plays back. When I press # to accept and then log back in the old recorded name is still there. I also tried recording from visual voicemail and when I pressed submit the system rebooted for some reason. The old recording remained. Are all embedded mail recordings residing on the SD card? Any help on this would be appreciated.

Have you tried formatting the SD and recreating from Manager? No previous data can survive a format and recreate.

Maybe it was donated because it was a lemon?? I would also recommend reformatting the sd card.

I will give that a shot. Actually TB it was donated because the previous NP shut down but what you said might also be true.

I had a problem with a user having the same issue.
I deleted the voicemail (ie unchecking the voicemail in the user ->voicemail) waited 10 minutes, turned voicemail back on, and the user could do everything normally.

CAVEAT: When you remove the mailbox, any saved messages, old messages, new messages will be deleted. Have them check their mailbox before deleting.

Regards
