How do I upload professionally recorded prompts to embedded voicemail to be used in auto attendant?

How do they have to be named?

What are the exact file format/parameters that they need to be recorded in?

And same questions to be used as mailbox greetings and recorded name?

Hold music named HoldMusic.wav in the system primary folder.

needs to be an 8k mono wav

Almost positive you cannot upload files for Embedded AA because it names the files and stores them with metadata. You must use the *8401 etc.

What you want is a feature of vmpro.

these files must be in wav with 16 bit rate - 8KHZ - Mono.
for embeded vm for AA: you can use the LVM tool from Manager application to convert them to a c11 AA prompt files. check the attachments.
rename the files as you want without spaces and special characters with the tool. or rename them as AA001, AA002.
after converting them you open the embedded file management and upload them to this path
System SD >> SYSTEM folder >> LVMAIL folder >> drag/drop the converted files.
use these files names in the AA config.

regarding the greatings i recommend to manually record them from the phone/user itself. it would be easier and better.

Adding a Pre-Recorded WAV file to embedded voicemail

1. First things first –your WAV file needs to be PCM, uncompressed,8K,16-bit audio.

2. Now, use the LVM Greeting utility found in the manager application under the Advanced section. Specify Input file, Output file and Recordings Name. If you are doing this for an IP Office 500v2,make sure the format is G711.
Note: The Recording name and output file name must be eight characters or fewer.
Click the OK button and just like that, you have a new file in your destination folder with a .c11 extension.

3. Here’s the undocumented part, at least with what I could find. Use the Embedded File Management utility and copy this file to the SD card in the following folder
DYNAMIC\LVMAIL\AAG

4. Set up your auto-attendant and point the Menu Options selection to the name you have created in the Recordings Name section. Do NOT add the .c11 at the end of the name. It is case-sensitive

5. Uncheck the Enable Local Recording checkbox so that someone doesn’t come along and accidentally re-record over your hard work.

6. To check things out, set up a short code pointing to your Auto-Attendant.

Thank you for this. Can you please send me a screenshot of the following instruction. I don’t see where in the auto attendant set up if we are using embedded voicemail, you can do this.

You also need to create a file in Manager that allows you to convert it. It is a .log file

I attach my self made docs that will show how to convert files to the correct .wav format as well as how to convert them to the .c11 file that is needed and the naming structure in Manager.
I find it always easier to see it all in one doc rather than piecing it together.
