New interecting fact what I'm sure is linked:Today, we added some extra monitoring on the Q.931 protocol level on PBX side. Doing so, we learned that when a failing inbound call is made, the Telco does send a call SETUP message and it is well received on the PBX's E1 interface (monitoring...
Could a bad earth conection or PRI quality cable or connector lead to such status? There are no alarms reported on the clocks (in sync and no slips). When issue is occuring, channels are becoming one by one LCKO until the links are not usable. For sure I will check the error counters at the...
This is what we already proposed but due to the random frequency of the occurence (it can work for 2 weeks without any issue), customer did not accept to remove the recording solution. It should be indeed easier... now we trying to understand what could be the reasons.
Hi all,
We have 2 PRI trunks connected to PSTN. We have then connected a voice multicoupler (Nice product) between the PSTN and the PBX on these PRAs. The purpose of Nice application is to record the calls on the voice channels. From time to time, we are facing to LCKO channels on these...

To reset the system, just power off and power on. We will not lose anything. Data are stored on flash memory. There is no battery on CPU card. What you see is a dongle...
The purpose is, in case of DRP, to send 4000 numbers rerouted by the PSTN from one site to a backup one. Customers calling user DN should receive an emergency message, other will be rerouted to specific destinations. I have 96 Mail channels. If I need to setup ran, it will cost a lot for sth I...
In my PBX setup, I would like that all unused DNs are sent to the NIT number defined in LD15. I have no console defined. So night mode is always active. I've defined a dummy queue 7992 (ncfw Meridian Mail). In MMail, 7992 is defined as announcment. When I'm calling from outside to an...
I see 2 ways:
- forward (with call forward key) to voicemail number (not automatically)
- define the voice mail number for FDN and EFD in set definition. In this case after 4 rings (depends od the PBS settings), all calls will be sent to voice mail
