like the subject says, we have no password for our meridian. this meridian was used by an other company (bankruped) but we have it now. but we dont have the password they used. we mainly deal in avaya system and siemens hi path.. and we would like to play whit this meridian..

is there any way to get this password or do we have to hack it some how..

BTW default password doesnt work..
the 0000 , 1111 , 8429 passwords..

if im correct its a meridian 1 x11 (or option 11) sysload 24.03 if thats any help for u guys..

BTW im dutch (the netherland) so sorry for incorrect english ;)

your english is way better then my dutch, not a easy hack, nortel can get it, try the system serial number, with and without the leading digit.. another thing if the screen shows a ovl 400 after an attempt you have exceeded you login attempts.. param is adjustable, might stay locked out for 24 hours or until an ini, best bet is a power cycle. if you have the original install software and keycodes you can do a reinstall and go back to the defauld password.. just pick the option to install the default customer data base. most people think the meridian is a little hard to program, but they haven't done the hi path, that's a piece fo work

oke, the screen show ovl 400 00
geuss we exceeded the maximum of login attempts.. :D
so we have 2 wait a day i supose..

is it possible to reset whole system..
i mean, take out the cpu part and remove the battery for a while and put it back in..

but where affraid that we might lose everything, licence and settings (if they are stored in memory or something)..

original install software, good question :D
dunno i'll ask the boss about that one..

To reset the system, just power off and power on. We will not lose anything. Data are stored on flash memory. There is no battery on CPU card. What you see is a dongle...

i maybe able to help you
