    Ldap

What exactly are you doing ? To give a user rights to modify other users in any capacity make them either administrators or power users or server managers. With that done you can use almost any remote access suite to accomplish that. Provide more info relating to the project at hand.

    Disk full error

First check your disk space, most functions are copied to the temp folder and that tends to take up a lot of space, you can also clean out the "cookies", if you are low on disk space then the server should have a bigger drive, get the size you need times 2 or 3 then format and ghost...

    Joining Domain problems

Glen, are you joining them as an Administrator and if so is that the same way you joined the others ? It sounds like a permissions issue, dont quote me tho. Maybe also take a look at configs and shares, believe it or not, 2k/ad are kind of sensitive regarding shares and stuff, especially...

    WIndows 2000 Server from XP

That type of OS change will require you to manually remove the xp files and then install the new os, you could try a boot disk, or if you are brave and have all the recovery cd's from the note book manufacturer, go for a full format and reinstall the os of your choice.

log-on difficulties - "not a valid device on the network"

The nic issue is on the money from my experience but also there is a problem with NT4.0 and win2k server regarding timers and authentication that also causes issues, we have at one point had to pull pc's out of the domain and place them right back in and the issues would go away for a while. I...

    Windows 2000 issues

I thought about that too but the folder is shared with the maximum amount of users checked as opposed to a numeric limit. Also the log on thin os only happening to one user and the office thing to two other users who appear to log on fine (no alerts or error messages) FREAKY !!!!!!!!

Cannot print via Terminal Services on Windows 98 Client

Terminal services is well known for its printer issues and lack of reliability, the best slution I have found is to be either a citrix client or pocket print servers on each printer and then set them up as network printers, the easiest ones are the SOHO ware print servers, truely plug n play, I...
