Can't find it at support.avaya.com.
I know it was there just 18 hours ago.

Anyone know anything about it's disappearance? Is this going to be another one of those 8.1.5x releases, where there are three variations put up and taken down in a week's time?

When I installed it it screwed up and said "Network error cannot read IP Office.msi" (or something similar) even though it was installing from the C: drive, it took Microsofts repair tool to fix as the same error popped up when trying to install, perhaps I wasn't the only one :)

Just received an answer to my own question... Taken down due to problems with the PRI interface.

But it did solve the problems with call Park and 1616 phones caught in a boot loop after a restart.

It is gone indeed.
But if you really need it, it is still on the PLDS download site :)
Click on VMPro and select the PLDS download.
You will need PLDS enabled ofcourse
Remove the Download pub ID and enter the application field with IP Office and select 8.1
Then it will show the last two 8.1 releases including 8.1.69

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I just installed this same release today, did you say that there is an issue with this release with a pri?

There are issues with PRI on this release, it just stops working :)
I did not install it yet.

thanks for the info guys, will not use this release yet, just like Avaya, fix park issues and then create new issues with latest release.

In the past the maintenance release where trialed a couple of weeks but Avaya ditched those maintenance trials.
This would have covered a lot of all these little issues and saved a lot of people a lot of hassle.

It was Biv343 who noticed it and had a problem but was not posted here.
So star biv343 too when you have the chance.
Thanks for this star anyway :)

Avoid 8.1.69 like the plague, at least if you have a NI-2 PRI. That's all I can confirm.

Lost a few hours of my life to that last night. [mad]

biv343 a star for you as well for saving me lots of problems as I was going to roll out this release, many thanks!

Yes, as I mentioned when I started this thread, it was taken down for PRI issues.

HOWEVER, I would roll it out for sure with clients that do not use a PRI but do use Park buttons and/or 1616 phones. I've rolled it out to several systems that use SIP and Park Buttons, and one system that uses SIP, Park, and 1616 phones, and all problems went away.

@amriddle, I had the same msi error when installing the software.
The resolution is to wipe the temp directories :
%USER%\appdata\temp and %SYSTEM%\temp
aka c:\users\<username>\appdata\temp ( hidden folder ) and c:\windows\temp
Then it will install without problems.
I haven't used the software yet but I always keep the previous release as a backup ( I know Avaya for some time now ) and rolling back is easy, just renaming some folders.

A simple mind delivers great solutions

Yeah I got it sorted, I currently have 3.0, 5.0, 8.0.44, 8.1.65 and 9.0 installed :)

I think it is carrier specific. I put it on my lab system and PRI worked fine. The site where I had the issue uses AT&T, and we use Windstream.

I guess I have to change "avoid it like the plague" to "proceed with caution" if you have PRI.

I have it running on a system with NI2 PRI without any problems and hope that I did not jinx myself here and it bites me in the a$$ now.

so now it's back up on the support site. still 8.1.69, so what's the deal? They pull it (because it was missing yesterday when I needed it) and now it's back up? same version, so do I dare use it? I have a customer with 2 PRI and NI2 and yes, one of them is AT&T. what to do?
