Can't find it at support.avaya.com.
I know it was there just 18 hours ago.

Anyone know anything about it's disappearance? Is this going to be another one of those 8.1.5x releases, where there are three variations put up and taken down in a week's time?

Bug's in Avaya software is also known as job security. If they keep having problems, you keep having to fix it. Sure, at some point people *might* try other systems due to their lack of trust in this one...but there will always be someone who will put up with the new guinea pig approach Avaya is using on these updates.
