I just installed IP Office 8.1(43) with embedded voicemail.
The users have different email addresses like joe@gmail.com,bob@hotmail.com,sue@aol.com, and so on.
So I created an email address at gmail to be the sender of these emails.
I logged into this email address and changed the setting to use pop3 for incoming and smtp for outgoing.
In manager under system smtp tab I used 74.125.134.108, port 994, email address that I created,
Checked server requires authentication, email address that I created, and it's password.
I have read a lot about email relays but don't really understand how to accomplish relaying.
Anybody have this same problem or maybe a link with info on using gmail to do this relay function?
