Hello,
I am a consumer System Administrator here at a new school district and I am new to Avaya.

I am having a few issues with Avaya IP office where the voicemail time stamp is off we are running 8.1R manager and running version 7 on the system.

I am running Avaya IP Office. I am looking to upgrade.
This is the licenses that we have I want to make sure when I upgrade I don't run into any licensing errors.

For a upgrade you need a upgrade license.
If thetimestamp is your only problem why not just solve it?
The Voiceamil timestamp is taken from the PC running Voicemail so check the time setting on the PC fist.
Check were the IP Office get its time from, you can find it on the main system page, best practice is to use a NTP server.
If IP Office is using a NTP server then in the VM PC set the IP Office as the timeserver for the PC, then you are sure they are always synchronized.
If that all is done and the problem persists then first upgrade to the latest version of 7, both IP Office andM Pro and see again.

Thanks for replying,

I don't have to update, my voicemail timestamp is around 6 hours off the times on the phones are correct. I use manager and voicemail pro on the same server.

Here is the settings on Manager.

What's weird is VMPro is running a newer version than what the system is running suggestions?

You should not use VMPro 8.1 but 7.0
But if you do not know how to do this then better call your business partner as there is a big chance that you break VMPro.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Your running R7 on IP office, Your voicemail pro must be R7
Ideally You want VM pro R7.0(35), and you can upgrade Your IPO from R7.0(31) to R7.0(36)

You could also just upgrade the IPO to R8.1, but You will need an upgrade license and an essential edition licence.

I have to agree with all of the above, matching the releases is a good idea. I have seen mismatched versions work without a problem but the R8.1 you are running on Vm Pro could be your issue.

I am not going to spend money on upgrading I contacted the vender and I will attempt the downgrade myself. Backing up now :)

Just copy the whole Voicemail Pro folder to a secure place and uninstall VM Pro R8.1 and install the V7 VM Pro.
Do not start the VM Pro service, first copy the complete VM folder fro the secured backup to the new install, start the service, run the client and import the VMDATA.MDB file, then save and make live and you are up and running, maybe some twaeking but basically thats all

You shouldnt also have posted screen shots of your network address on a public forum, as you potentially open yourself up to a hack. I now have enough information about your switch to log onto it.
