Tie lines keep locking up

hey everyone-
I have tie lines between my two hospitals- connecting to a Nortel Meridian 81C and the other end is a Nortel Meridian 61C. The tie lines are always going into make busy or locking up and I seem to be resetting them a lot.... any suggestions???

do pni numbers match, is trmb working.. is this a pri? fdec and ndec eth and spvn no can help.

When they lockout have you done a TRAC on the TN at both ends to see what they are tied to.

It might be worth changing TRMB. Here are the settings:

TRMB=YES Tromboning allowed. Incoming call on route can be routed directly back out on the same route.

TRMB=NO Tromboning denied. Incoming trunk call on route may not be routed directly back out on the same route.

As a super last ditch temporary fix while you identify the problem, you could set TFD=3600 so no call could exceed 60 minutes - the trunk would release after 3600 seconds.

i would still look at vod instead of 3vce.. trmb has to the same on both ends.. i would test that, if it is not working, remove it
