Term-Ext-group phone not ringing

I am having a problem with a phone ringing when a call comes to the terminating extenson group. I have set up the group and added the users station in. The phone it goes to is a 9630. The Line Appearance lights up but the phone does not ring. When dialing the users phone directly it rings fine. Any idea what to look for?
 
Check that Bridged Call Alerting is set to Y on page 2 of the station form.
 

Bridged call alerting is set to yes on both stations in the Term-Ext-Group. The line appearance lights up but neither one physically rings. What else could it be?:

Have you tried to set Per Button Ring Control? y
 
I never heard of the TEG until your post but I see several hits on the internet with the same problem with no solution. Does the line appearance show that it is ringing or does it look like it is active somewhere? List trace station might help.

I don't know what all the differences are since I don't know the TEG, but we use the cover answer group for this. It doesn't take an appearance line on the agent's telephone and it rings all of the phones in the group at the same time. Each group can be up to 8 numbers and multiple groups can be put in the cover group of the hotline extension if you want it to step through agents or groups of agents. It rings on the agent's extension and caller id shows that it is a call to the hotline.
 
do your phones 73724 and 43555 have "term-x-gr 2" buttons
