Bridged Appearance alerting on Avaya Workplace soft phone not working

We are running R018x.01.0.890.0
I'm having an issue getting a bridged appearance on an Avaya Workplace soft phone to either ring or light up. I've checked all the settings such as Bridged Call Alerting = y, "Per Button Ring Control?" = y, brdg-appr btn:1 ext:12345 Rg: r

I have both a hard phone, J179, and the Workplace soft phone for my extension. Bridge
appearance works fine both on ringing and alerting on my desk phone.
Perhaps I'm missing something?

I'm wondering if anyone has had this issue and if so, what did you do to correct it.
 
on release 8 Avaya Aura and using One-X Communicator, there is a feature option on the set "bridged tone for this extension" that should be set to yes, as well as "bridged call alerting" which should be checked off - also the bridged extension must be a primary extension on the system

Maybe give us a copy of the station pages (for the workplace extension) and also the config.xml for Workplace as well?

Everything sounds right though from what you've posted. When we started trying stuff with Bridged Call Appearances it just worked.
 
I couldn't find config.xml, but found the configdata.xml file. I'm guessing these are the same things? Here are these two files that I'm attaching.
