Replace 403 with a 500

I have a client with a 403 control unit that I would like to replace with a 500. I'm uncertain on a couple of items. They have VM Pro licensed on the 403, and have two expansion modules. If I were to replace the 403 with a 500 running 5.0 what licenses would I need to add assuming I get the VM Pro license moved over to the new feature key? Can I still use the "standard to pro" license to enable expansion modules in 5.0? Do I need a prefered license in order to make VM Pro work, or is my existing VM Pro license sufficient?

You do not need the standard to pro with 5.0 anymore
if you do the license swap then vmpro will be prefered edition
so your modules work and the vmpro will work
be aware that when you do the swap that you wait with new licenses untill the swap is done !!!

just to second tlpeter, get a new ip500 smart card, do the license swap THEN add any new licenses you want.
