A customer is installing a new, non-Avaya voicemail system on their old Definity 9.5 using mode-code integration. They noticed random calls (<10%) going to the default mailbox instead of the correct mailbox. Looking at the log in the voicemail, you can see the Definity was actually sending extra "#" digits in the mode-code string. After further research, the customer discovered all of the ports having that issue were running off TN742 V10 circuit packs. He moved those stations to TN742 V16 circuit packs. Now the log in the voicemail is showing the Definity is randomly sending an extra "1" digit in front of the correct mode-code digits on those ports. He has other ports going to the voicemail running on TN742 V17 & V18 circuit packs. I am waiting to hear back from him to verify those ports have not experienced any issues.
Other than the obvious "replace the V16 packs with V17 or V18 packs" answer, are there any other known issues with mode-code and what circuit packs should be used?
