Hello, Fellow geeks and Nerds. Old guy here.
I have a cust with Avaya CM 10.2 using IX Messaging. They use J169 SIP phones. The phones are all set to roll to VM (4 rings basic set up). A small group of 4 phones all have a line appearance of another "pilot phone" on their phones. They use it like a call center without all the bells and whistles. They dont want a hunt or pick up group or coverage answer group. So I just built the "pilot phones" # (it's also a DID) on their personal exts as "bridged appearances".
When a call comes to their personal exts and they dont answer, rolls to VM as designed. When they call the "pilot phones" # as an interanl 5 digit call and they don't answer, rolls to VM as designed.
When they call the DID associated to the pilot phone, rings but DOES NOT roll to VM as designed.
I thought this was a COR issue but can't seem to find it there. I've done a SIP trace on the calls coming in and all looks normal but calls are not rolling to VM after the 4 rings on JUST THE DID calls.
Hey, I'm not a COMPLETE idiot. Some parts are missing.....
