Maximum Voicemail ports (IP Office 500)

Is there a limitation to the number of voicemail ports that an IP Office 500 can support.

We have 4 PRIs and are considering using Datel to handle voice recording of all calls in our center.

The current limit is 40 ports. I think the server edition was supposed to bump that up to 100 though? Might be mistaken.

OK here is the lame quesiton what is server edition? has anyone tried to record all calls in a IP office for 92 lines (ie 4 PRIs)?

Server edition is when the IPO is actually...on a server (*nix based).

On a standard IP500, with all ports maxed, using *contact store*, you cannot record 92 lines at once. Not enough ports. Server edition? Sure.

If you're not using server edition, you would need a digital pri/t1 recorder in front of the IPO. OakSI/omnicron or whatever...tons of them out there.

For that amount of recording VM Pro wouln't be the best solution anyway, even if it went that high (except server) the recording is more of a bonus to having VM Pro rather than a reason to specify it

Like Andy said, it is far better and probably cheaper to use proper call recorders for this. Get one that sits in line with the ISDN.

Also keep in mind that VRL is not supported on the server edition!!!
