I installed a "The Stick" like sharing device on an analog port of an IP Office, but the Stick wont pick up the ring current and work. Has anyone used a line sharing device, and what kind or settings did you use to make it work?

Thanks.

Most modern voip systems don't provide powerful ring current on analog station ports like traditional pbxs from the old days.

Google "ring current booster". There's a variety of products that will do what you need.

Thank you.

bring the analog line into the stick 1st then from the other port on the stick plug into the analog port on the ipo, had the same issue recently and this resolved the issue.

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

It's coming out of a PRI circuit. Thanks.

So it goes to a Fax and what else? You could route it incoming to an auto attendant, and make fax detection to to the fax extension and the time out go to the other destination

Its an extension off-premise, and I do not have any more pairs. Its a single line phone with a fax attached to it. He wants to use his DID for both voice and fax.

Ah, well, sometimes a Expansion Module (Phone 8, Phone 16, Phone 30) will provide some better ringing voltage/current than a Base card
