Does anyone know if Avaya makes a single line set something similar to a hotel motel or trimline style handset that could be used in a small motel.

I don't want to put in a business style handset into the rooms we just want to use something similar to a hotel motel single line handset with message waiting indicator

If Avaya, then you can use J139 (I guess J129 is not sold anymore).

I know about customers using Vtech hotel phones. But they need 3rd party IP endpoint licenses if not subscription licensed.

Google is you friend....

Will work for sure. But he asked if Avaya sells such phones.

There be still seems to be plenty of J129s on the market.

There was the E129 at one time.

3rd party IP licences aren’t cheap.

They used to have the H200 series but I think they were discontinued recently.

J129s (700513638) went end of sale as did the H200 but then the J129 came back as the 700517252. Looks to be very much the same phone but the new one supports a plug pack power supply, and the old one doesn't. Theer are a great little phone not like the E129 which was rubbish. I have plenty of the 700513638 in stock (New)

But are you looking for a SIP phone might be better to go analogue there are wide range of analogue hotel phones, the IPO supports message waiting and caller ID on analogue devices.

Or you could go 3rd party IP but that doesn't make much sense cost wise.

It's funny how the old Nortel box phones the 7300 series back in the 70s turned into the elegant looking T-Series and then Nortel created a very beautiful and I understand award-winning model that is now copied today in the 96 XX series and the J series. Seems like we went backwards back to the boxy looking phones.

I personally thought that the 54 XX series Gray round clamshell looking phones were the most elegant but unless you use the full size handset the small displays were very difficult to use and the DS handsets were not backlit
