Running 4.2(4) IP Office and VMPro, is that supported on 2008R2 64bit?

Trying to migrate it off a physical machine and onto a VM.

TIA!

Thanks andy. That worked but it does the same thing as putting VM:<menuname> in the destination.

So it looks like no rings in R5. Weird, I would at least prefer 1.

Oh well.

If you want ringing, just add the AA on the Leave action on the HG on VM Pro.

just dont put any members in the group, and set a no answer time to what you want.

Lol wut?

I don't have a hunt group for AA. Can you elaborate?

Drew, read my post!

You have VMPro so it should be easy to put a wav file with a ring in front of the AA greeting.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

tlpeter...

Do you have a wav file with a ring in it? I would think that would sound funny too right? IE it would play 1 wav of a ring then move on to the MainAttend menu?

I do not have a ring.
If i had then it would be different from the one you have.
Put a record button on your phone and call your cell phone and record one or two rings and you have your wav file in your own mailbox.
Rename it and move it to the wav fiels folder and add it in front of the AA greeting.
Job done :)

HSM made the best suggestion, create a group called "ToAttend" or something have no members in it queueing off and VM on. In VM Pro Client look for the groups right click on the new group you created and add a Leave start point, copy the attendant from your module into there. Then point your Incoming call route to that group :)

The above should give you one ring, or you can put queueing on and set the VM answer time to give the amount of seconds you want it to ring :)

you could try
8888
VM collect
"#menuname"

the # will add a ring to it before it connects :)
I have to earn the pink now

Lol. Followed HSM and Andy's advice about the Hunt group with queueing off, still no ring.

WESTI however hit the nail on the head! Thank you Westi, two stars for you my man.

Thanks to everyone for their help with this. Next project is moving this install to a VM!!

Mine would have given an extra ring too :)

I wouldn't mind but I used to do it that way a lot, can't see the woods for the trees and all that :)

Haha. Whatever works man, thats how I figured out how to get the Mainattend working last night. I must have overlooked the part about the "#.

it is just a line above the shortcode for that with a lot of blabla around so it is easily missed.

I think we all need a star so have one as well for a great topic
