IP Office V1 - Voice Mail Not Working;
One of my clients has a IP Office V1 where I had to replace the Control Unit.
Was at version 4.2.11, brought it up to 4.2.23.
When they dial their Voice mail button or *17 they get a busy signal.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

He doesn't know otherwise he mentioned it.

In Manager in the system details there is a tab named "voicemail", by accident you can find there what type of voicemail was used.
There are a few options:
- None
- Embedded
- VM Pro or Lite (Pro if there is a license)
- 3th Party
- maybe centralized but I don't remember if that was available in 4.2

So, first find out what type of VM and then we can move forward.

It's embedded. Sorry I was off the grid kind of early yesterday.

Have you verified voicemail type under the system voicemail tab? have you tried a reboot? maybe something went wrong during the upgrade process

Did you insert the Avaya Mediacard? I hope you did not formatted it in a PC....[soapbox]

Don't play with it if you can't fix it, big boys rules :-)

Arghhhhh.....
Just didn't remember to transfer the memory card from one unit to the other..... Stupid mistake.
Thanks all for the input!

I will give intrigrant some pink for this as you should have as he saved you a service call $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Thing to watch with them old cards is they can stop working randomly and a normal reboot doesn't help, you have to power down reboot to get them back up...PITA :-)
