I have a customer that has an IP Office 500 V2 6.1 software. Just recently, the system has been rebooting itself anywhere from once to three times a day. I patched it to the latest revision of 6.1, but that did not help. Is this an issue with all 6.1 releases, or could there be a bigger issue at play here?

Config issues i guess.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Tlpeter, what kind of config issues? The system has been running well for 3 years and now all of a sudden it reboots on its own.

Could be a change in the config like a loop or perhaps the power supply is dying.
Can you run a monitor trace and when it reboots post it hear.
Just the last couple of minutes is enough.
If they are on then turn of H.323 and SIP as these will fill up the trace massively.

is this on a ups or as stated earlier could be a power supply on it's way out.

It is on a UPS. If it is power supply, is that a replaceable part, or would they need a new system?

You need a new IP500v2 only.
The power supply is not sold separately.

Yep the Power supply is going. Replace the control unit. Had it happen to me.
