hi there
just upgraded to R8 on my demo kit, installed the Outlook plug-in on my PC (win7 pro+outlook 2010) but the plug-in on my outlook won't connect to the server, it says Server communication failure!
login to OneX portal via the browser works fine.
any ideas please ?
thanks

Firewall?

I have had it working so it is not a bug.

no firewall, flat network
i tried disabling the firewall on my pc too, still nothing

You need to configure the server settings on the plugin too even when you have done this already for the call assistant.
Did you do that?

i didn't install the call assistant, but i did configure the settings on the plugin : i put in the application server (the ip address of the IPO) and the server port same as the one i use when i login to onex portal

Does the user has a pincode?
Try if you don't have a pincode.

I have the same issue all firewalls turned off and have installed the plug in twice. Have you made progress?

Running Outlook 2007 on Win 7, I managed to get it to work on One machine but not the one I realy want it on. Have turned all fire walls off.
