Hello all !

I'm writing to you because i have a problem between an IP Office (R10) and some Aastra DRG22I gateways.

Actually, the phone connected to the gateway are registered on the IP Office, but when i try to call, it's ringing one time and after that the call is disconnected.

I attached to this thread the monitor session between 4305 (9608 phone) and 4369 (aastra gateway)

As i can see, i have the error "CMCauseNetworkOOO" and just after "Cause=38, Network out of order" but i don't know why or where can be the problem

If somebody has an idea ?

Thanks for your help !

Fabien

check the interconnect between the 2 systems, you have a fault
either the line is misconfigured (what type of line do you have connecting these 2 systems) or you have a faulty/incorrectly wired cable (gain we need to know the connection type to advise.

I try two different gateway, connected on two different switchs with different cable too

The gateways are connected throught the WAN port on switchs that ports are configured on access mode in the toip vlan

The solution works with an audiocodes (registered + calls)

Then it's misconfigured, the 2 systems were never designed to work together, so you'll need to play with it until it works, there is no documented pre-defined way to do this. so you are playing guinea pig :-)

Again what protocols are in use?

Here is a quick tip for usefully responses in tek tips, provide full detail in your question instead of the bare minimum (too much we can filter out, nt enough & you get know-where)

Do you go to the doctors & simply say "I am not well" & expect him to work things out form that?

if sip then I would expect one end to be configured as a trunk & the other as a user but there is still no guarantee that you will ever get it working

Sorry english is not my native language, i misunderstood your question :)

The protocol used is H323

Then you are on your own, H.323 is a very complicated protocol and each vendor feels free to add their own features into it.
A network out of order is a generic message without any details of what the error actually is.

you probably need to turn on more detail in the monitor application to see what is happening
go to filters & turn on everything in the h323 tab

I would suggest that you also obtain support form the Aastra side of things as well
there is very little needed for H323 setup on the IP Office apart from the IP Address of the remote system & appropriate short codes.

* given for remembering to come back & update with the solution.

this may help others in future
