Dear all
I need your help to integrate Avaya S8300 with Trixbox by SIP Trunk.
You can find the details below in two sides:
Avaya Side:
Signaling-group:
SIP (tls)
ports in two sides: 5061
Far-end Domain: saadsip.saad.com.sa
Trunk-group:
SIP Trunk (Tie)
Numbering Format: private

the signaling and the trunk being in service but when I do list trace and first try to call tribox extension, i find: network failure and the signaling being out of service.

Trixbox Side:
Peer details:
username=350
type=friend
secret=1234
port=5061
nat=auto
insecure=very
host=192.168.22.13
fromuser=350
fromdomain=saadsip.saad.com.sa
dtmfmode=rfc2833
disallow=all
allow=g729&ilbc&ulaw&alaw

User details:
username=350
type=friend
secret=1234
nat=auto
insecure=very
host=192.168.22.13
fromdomain=saadsip.saad.com.sa
dtmfmode=rfc2833
disallow=all
context=from-trunk
allow=g729&ulaw&alaw&ilbc
port=5061

Noting 350 is an IP extension in Avaya Side
and 192.168.22.13 is the processor avaya IP
Register string:
350:1234@192.168.22.13:5061/350

Outbound routes to avaya:
Dial Patterns: 3XX

When I make call from X-Lite user register in Trixbox i dont detect any digits in the avaya trace

Please any idea????

I did look, but has anyone seen a document on support.avaya.com that shows how to interconnect a CM/Aura with an Asterisk based PBX? I haven't had any luck.

I attempted this using H.323 and had real problems with Trixbox. I couldn't get it working until I ditched Trix and went with straight *. That said...

Are you converting 350 to 1234? I don't really understand that piece of your post. If 350 is part of the Avaya Dial Plan then it would look like exten => _3xx,1,Dial(SIP/{EXTEN}@S8300) in the * dial plan with the sip.conf having a [S8300] context pointing to an Avaya domain using an SES host IP address.

yes 350 it was an extension...just demo
I miss lot of things and i am in progress to complete the programing :)

where is your SIP server ? Don't you need that to talk to Trix

My understanding is that Asterisk has ok, but not great, support for TLS sip integration. (Which is what the PBX would want.)

I'm about to try something similar, so if I'm successful, I'll post back the results.

Hi all
its too late to reply: sorry

I decline to do it through SIP, i integrated via H.323 and it's working properly :)

Would you mind sharing your h.323 integration configuration files?

Yes :)
