I have a customer that has IP Office basic edition v9.1.100.10.
On one workstation, the Manager software installed works fine.
They installed the Manager software on an additional PC and when it opens the configuration it displays as if it were in Essential Mode, and not the typical "Basic" interface. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Default to standard mode is checked I bet

are you sure it shows as essential

Not sure if it is actually showing as "Essential", but it is displaying the 4 panes like essential does.

When you say it's set to basic by default, are you talking about the preferences setting?

Check file>preferences>preferences tab. If you are saying it looks like standard mode even before you load a config that would be Set Simplified View as default is unchecked. If you are saying once you load the config it shows up as if the system is in standard mode but your system is inbasic mode, uncheck Default to Standard Mode. If you have Default to Standard Mode checked, and you save the config all phones will show unlicensed and you will have to resend the basic mode config to recover or default the system.

Oddly enough, with Default to Standard Mode checked, when you first pick between basic mode and standard mode, it will ignore what you pick and go into Standard Mode.

Thanks critchey.... I'll have them check that setting.
