Hi All,
I have a network with 1 Win2k Advanced Server and 1 Windows NT Server. We want the WinNT server to operate strictly for FTP services. We also have a SonicWall internet device thingy. I've setup the WinNT server for ftp service and it works fine when accessing the ftp site locally. I have setup the SonicWall to forward ftp requests to the WinNT Server by entering the WinNT servers address in the the FTP service in the SonicWall setup. Problem is that when I try to access the ftp site using our Internet IP Address the connection doesn't go through. I'm wondering if the WAN Subnet must match the LAN Subnet, this is not currently done. Anyone else have any suggestions?
Aloha,
James
