Have a customer running V10 on an IP500 V2 using embedded voicemail, the customer has recorded their own night greeting but now want a proffesional one uploaded. We have the wav file in the correct format 16k 128k mono etc and we have used the LVM greeting utility to convert it but we cant get it to play etc.I have filled in all fields original message etc and output file etc and selected user then entered Night service group name and then generated a .C11 file. I have then renamed it to the original Night message with a .clp suffix and uploaded it to the system/Dynamic/LVmail folder overwirting the original. I then did a system restart but it wont play the new message it just plays default "no one available message. Can anyone advise correct procedure for uploading a new HG night service message?

I believe if you have converted it , the file neds to placed in the AAG folder.

When you have generated the file do not rename it afterwards.......
The file name has to be the same as your night message name.
Eg..if it's for a mailbox called "night message"..then name it night message in the lvm greeting utility name.
Up load the file to the AAG folder..this is were all alternative greetings go.
The system will look here to see if the name matches a hunt group or AA name.
If it sees it the it plays it after a short while.
Can take about 5 minutes before it's found..

You want 8kHz, 16 bit mono. Import the file into Audacity, set the Project Rate (Hz) in the lower left hand corner to 8000, then export it. NOW convert it and upload it.

Once the file is uploaded go in System Status and turn off the SD Card and when shut down restart the SD Card, then after a while the sound clip is available.
