This morning I was trying to re-record a prompt for an AA. In this case *8403 is the shortcode for the menu options message. When we record the prompt, it does not overwrite the old one, it appends it to the existing one. How can I fix this? There is no option to delete prompts.

I would shutdown the card, use embedded file management, browse to the dynamic-lvmail-aag folder; delete the aags (auto attendant greetings, start up the SD, and re-record the aags.

I think you have recorded the menu in the wrong place at some point i.e against the morning/afternoon/evening codes then since recorded it in the correct menu options code and so it is playing them both :-)

One thing to check is that the System SC *83XX still has the Telephone number as "AA:"N".3"

Can't tell ya how many times I've seen people change these codes.

Did you by any chance start recording and then interrupted and rerecorded it.
I had that happen a few times that this did not overwrite the prompts and you need to dial in new and do it in one shot.

I could not browse to the file system. When I tried to connect it would not let me see files. I ended up doing a cold restart and that fixed it. But only after wiping out the AA and redoing it after the restart. I hate it when I have ot resort to Windows style fixes when customers are watching.
