cant seem to get the email notification to work.we have a valid email and ip address but it wont work. Support suggested checking hte SMTP ports and relay but the instaructions given dont say what the error messages point to and what the resolution is. Please help if you have any suggestions.

How is you mail setup, try to look in a trace.
enable SNMP and search for SNMPmngmt or something like that.

fire up monitor and tick the embedded voicemail event options. leave a few voicemails and you should see the error in the trace.
