My customer has an old copper DID coming into the switch - it's pumping 3 digits rather than 4 - am I able to accept the 3 digits via IDC Table? Is this even possible??
Also, depending on exactly what you're doing you may need to check your Route Data Block. If DNIS=YES then you'll need to specify NDGT (number of digits).
The only time the LDN need to be programmed for digit length is with PRI service. When using copper this is not the case. Idc will work fine just put the IDGT as the 3 digit number received.
your right on that one, but i've had a week like that. years ago a lot of smaller switches used 3 digits internal. for less the 100 stations it made sense. default on mitel used to be station 200 to 299
