I have 2 sites that are connected through a WAN 1 in St. Louis, MO and the other in Edwardsville, IL. I can get into my router and ping the IP office unit from St. Louis to Edwardsville no problem but when I attempt to establish connection to talk and make changes I cant seem to do it. We have IP routes and gateways all point to one another.

Basically If i get on to my computer I can ping the Edwardsville IP office from my computer and it pings just fine responding back to me and I can ping my IP office here in st. louis from my computer but when I open up the Manager I cant pull up the Edwardsville IP office to make any kind of changes.

If someone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it

Change the IP broadcast address in the drop down to remote site the refresh.

"· Enter Broadcast IP Address: Default = 255.255.255.255
The broadcast IP address range that Manager should used during UDP discovery. Since UDP broadcast is not routable, it will not locate systems that are on different subnets from the Manager PC unless a specific address is entered.

If the two IP Offices can ping each other OK (using SSA) then ports are being blocked, even if IT say they aren't they are :)

Not happy with Avaya ATM....

You must not deal with the same type of clients I do. I never assume annthing except the worst possible thing.

Indeed, the only assumption you can make is that you need to thing about the worst possible thing like 1043 mentions :)

BAZINGA!
