We're now installing CM6.3 S8300 servers in gateways because CM5.x is no longer available. CM 6.x now uses the Utility Server as the TFTP and HTTP server for the 46xxsettings.txt file.
Can anyone confirm/provide the following:
1) For 46xx phones using Option 176, where does the 46xxsettings.txt file go on the Utility Server? What's the default directory to put this file into on the utility server?
2) If we are using the default directory (which I hope you can answer in #1) we don't have to put the TFTPDIR= in the DCHP Scope?
3) For HTTP same question for option 242, where is the default directory for the 46xxsettings.txt file on the utility server?
4) Can you confirm the DHCP Scope would be like this if we're using the default directory, or if we are using the default do we not have to put it in the string just like the TFTPDIR:
MCIPADD=x.x.x.x,L2Q=0,L2QVLAN=x,PHY2VLAN=x,MCPORT=1719,HTTPSRVR=x.x.x,HTTPDIR=/,VLANTEST=60,OPSTAT=011
5) Finally, shoudl the MCIPADD include the LSP IP address and not just the Core PBX? So it would be: MCIPADD={core pbx ip},{lsp ip},L2Q=0, etc, etc, etc.
