I am trying to install a conference system behind a PBX and one of the circuit type options is CAS. Now CAS main is set to N in my customer options page. If I wanted to use CAS would that be the only option that I would need to get turned on in the system? If so I am running a G3si V6 with Avaya Maintenance; can I just call them and have it turned on?

Thanks, Nunzeo

Hi,
It sounds like you can mistake terminologies.
Are you sure that your conference system will use CAS Main (Centralized Attendant Service)?
I think CAS parameter may be connected with E1 Channel Associated Signaling wich is guarantee opened in your Definity ds1 form programming options.

I guess you are right. I just found that out from someone yesterday.

Do you know how I would route calls coming in on DNIS 7200 out to a conf. system connected to the PBX via T-1s?
