Hi all,

Is it possible to integrate IP Office 406 into a home grown CRM web application where telephone numbers are hyperlinked and clicking on them will cause the users phone to dial that number?

Thanks in advance.

If you integrate tapi in your CRM then yes you should be able to do that

Hi Tom,

I am trying to get the same thing going with our home grown crm app but when I use the string above, it calls my skype application. Is there a way to tell it to use avaya tapi using the PM Pro? If so, could you elaborate on the tweaks please? Thanks.

you need a hook app. Matt wrote one for me, still working the kinks out of it but it works. then there is a link to the other one in there?

do you use firefox?

I dont use firefox nor does anyone in our office. I tried that hook app in the thread but have not had a lot of luck with it. I'm still searching for a solution. I was also looking at jtapi ( I wonder if this could help?

I dont know why I thought this would be really easy LOL.

so did i, but i found that both worked? what are you struggling with? the reason i mentioned firefox was i had to tweak it to get it to dial, I.E is such a poor excuse for a browser it just worked lol.

Have you changed any of the settings in the app? i cant try it now but i can reinstall tomorrow and try and work through what i changed to get it working.

I opened the app and tried but I couln not get it to see PM, only skype.

For the ones who use firefox get;

Work very good, also if you have a softphone and you're in a different coutry.

in pdp.

tools>options>hardware>dial using

Try to copy the regkey below into notepad save as .reg
Double click it to add it into the registry.
Then Download Dial.exe from;

Unzip and Rename it to callto.exe and copy it to the c:\ root.

----------------------------------------------

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto]
@="URL:Call To Protocol"
"URL Protocol"=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto\DefaultIcon]
@="c:\\callto.exe"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto\shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto\shell\open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\callto\shell\open\command]
@="\"c:\\callto.exe\" \"%1\""

----------------------------------------------

now you can use Start > run > callto:123456 (and press enter)

And if you use firefox the use the plugin from above.

Tom,

I installed, rebooted and still do not see the tapi drivers there. Only NONE and skype.

IPoffice user;
remove AVAYA Tapi2-serviceprovider from the phone/modem options > wait > and add it again.

under options>general>add dialing functionality to online browsers>set params do you have the enable callto box ticked?
