Hi

I have a callmaster II that is beeping during calls, I have tried to find out why, I have tried a different headset, Busyout on port and station but it still happens, I'm sure there must be a setting on the phone somewhere

anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Have you tried swapping the turret? That way you can test to see if that is causing the problem.

Hi Merrie

Yes I have swapped the turrets and the beep stayed with the original turret and the replacement is fine, but the affected turret just annoys someone else then

not sure of the model, but one of the call masters has a dip switch on the bottom if I remember correctly

If the headset is a Plantronics type with an M10 or M12 adapter, check or replace the batteries.

Those adapters will beep when the batteries are low.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)

I have tried numerous headsets so I won't be that, I'll see if I can see this dip switch, was it obvious to see?

Remove the headset adapter, press select , mute, then 00.This will show you what options are turned on. To disable recorder tones push select, mute, 73, then * to change the setting

Lucent document 555-015-172 has all the instructions for callmaster II and IV sets
