We have a system shortcode so that anyone with the company that calls from 9555 will display as 9796 at the end to external clients.
However when clients call the 9555 and this forwards to number ending 3694 when this happens we need this 9555 number to display as 9555 and not 9796 only when calling the number ending in 3694

Is there anyway in doing this without turning off the system shortcode?

Adam

create a shortcode in ARS like this:
SC = 3694
TN = 3694s9555
Action = Dial
LineID = 0

Does it work? I assume not.
That is not in ARS is it? Or is ARS not used?

Use monitor with the default filter, enable all on ISDN and shortcode and ARS on the Call page.
Take a trace from a call coming in on 9555 which is forwarded.

This doesnt work no. We dont use ARS.

Please find the trace below - if you need anything else let me know.

Is that number coming in on a analog or SIP line? The trace shows no activity.

I have no idea what you're trying to do and I've read it 4 or 5 times, but the bit I think I got..... that shortcode will not work for numbers ending with specific digits at the end :)

I am not a native english but for what I make of it is that any number dialled by any user sends out the xxxxxxx9796 as CLI.
But if the DDI number xxxxxxxx9555 is forwarded to xxxxxxx3694 then the call should send xxxxxxxx9555 as the CLI.
But the trace taken shows no call activity on ISDN so I assume another type of trunk is used and then sending a specific CLI may be impossible.

okay bear with me ill run through this test again.
