Avaya IP 500 and Microsoft Lync

I have been asked by my boss to get Enterprise voice working with our IP 500 unit, i have followed the instructions below but i can not get a call to go out or in.


I have purchased one endpoint license for testing and the IP 500 is on version 5.0 (22)

When making a call i get call was not completed or has ended, i have double checked the config with somebody else and also scoured the web looking at other guides but no joy.

Could somebody point me to the right direction regarding troubleshooting this please

I put a day of blood sweat and tears into getting IPO and Lync to talk..... but inbound and outbound worked a treat

have you tried the search feature - I believe it works OK now on Tek-Tips.

ran a search but no joy only your posts, can you give me any pointers to allow outgoing calls ?
 
I can now make calls outbound at last, my problem was that the ports did not match up between the IP 500 and the Lync server. Once i set the ports right you need to restart the mediation service otherwise the settings do not take affect.

I am now looking at inbound routing if anybody has any ideas of where i start
