Hello,

We are getting a T1 install (non PRI) into our NorStar system, from a call center company (UCN). When there is a calling on the 800 number, they will be sending down pseudo number + the ext for the tech support. Is there a way to setup the Norstar to absorb the first three digits of the pseudo number and then have the system ring that ext number?

Thanks,

not in one step.
but program a target line to receive the digits sent
assign the target line to ring on the required extension

Thank you for the infomation,

I have looked at the target line, and the Rec'd I can put in three digits. We use 3 digits for our DN so I guess that is why, so if the call center is sending 6 digits, 999243, the 999 being the pseudo number, will the system removed that 3, or do I set it somewhere to remove the first three digits?

Thanks for all the help.

then you may change the number of digits received to 6 (under sys progrmming) - unless you have other DIDs

why do u want only 3 digits to route the call?

Nope we don't have DID's at all, this is a non PRI T1 we are installing, and I think when the system was setup it was set to 3 digits. So it should not matter setting it to 6 digits.

Thanks,

Hello,

Just found out that they will be sending 6 pseudo number plus the ext, so that makes 9, and I can only set the digits received to 7. Anyway to make it to 9 or is the system limit to 7?

Thanks,
Steven
