I had modem problem before somewhat similar with this, we did upgrade the multitech USB modem as recommended by Avaya and the problem was solved.
1 to 3 rings the active server should answer, after that from 4 to 5 rings the standby server will. Please take note of the number of rings when the modem answers.
I just got to confirm if main server running CM 3.1.1 and ESS running 3.1.2 would work? Is it just like LSP that it should have the same or higher release than that of the main server. Because as if now I'm having problem with the ESS, not able to register on the main server.

Please check if the Medpros (bearer) in the port networks see each other. (igc) calls should also be seen in the list trace station between port networks.

G700 can be deployed anywhere in the network for as long as the S8300 and G700 can see each other through IP. Avaya stopped the production of the stacking module for the G700.

You can use I/O LAN terminal server to convert ethernet to serial connections and another option is to let your call accounting vendor to have their system IP-enabled.

Please see list-registered ip-phones to see if the stations still there when the phones are disconnected. And when you manually register back the phones again, did it prompt you to "unregister station"?

Thanks Dwalin. But our maintenance team wanted to have a visual alarm indicator by using bulbs. I'm just curious on the output of the db9 connector on the back of the IPSI board such as the voltage or current rating or whatsoever.
