I can access the box from other phones, so I doubt that I don't know the default password (after all, I just created some 30 mailboxes after I installed the thing).
I'll check the title of the manual I was reading.
Yes, mbox 211, x 211. I did that, and that, and that.
I can access the mailbox, but not from that phone without hitting 'other', typing the extension (mbox number) and password, which I'd rather not make the person do (just trying to keep it simple for those I serve).
I did a search of the...
We had some trouble with a mailbox, not being able to get in, whether this be related to user forgetting password or not, I don't know, but now after I reset the password in the F983 menu, the phone still says Mbox Locked ... Contact admin, after entering any password. Accessing the mailbox by...
It is 6.1 MR
I just did startup, with the same results
The sleeve says it's a NTBB08GA-93 02 2004/05/20
I'm working on it, and I think the "auto" may be working. BRB
Upgrade process:
1) power down
2) switch s/w R1T1 to R6.1
3) login and set time
4) figure out where things are and start programming the outside lines
5) target lines weren't working right, so I decided to give a punch in the dark and put the new (to us) 0X32 in, with software and all our cards...

Without the prime set, it just rings and rings, but otherwise it goes to the prime set.

Almost sound like our system. I believe that any NAM newer than the KSU software will work.
I just used a fiber NAM 4.1 on R1T1, without any incompatibility problems; I'd go the full upgrade to the newest, so the possibility of upgrading the system software in the future will be left open.
I just upgraded our R1T1 to 6.1, and now the target lines aren't going to the right places-- the call comes in on the T1 channel 1, and then goes to the prime set for that channel, instead of the prime for the target line.
I'm not very familiar with the 6.1 (not at all), since I've just been...
I would note, though that at least on the R1T1, the change of DN does not affect where forwards go. For example, the extension 276 (port 305) needs to be changed to 294 (port 310), because there are phones forwarding no answer to 294 (port 310). After the extension change, all the FNA from the...
We have a line with suffix of 9870, with digit mod to 8870. I'll try that line for testing. Another line with Rec'd # of 8059 is doing the same mischief, however.
I don't think there's a DND ON BUSY feature on this system, if so, I can't find it. I had a vendor look at it yesterday, and all he could figure was a reinitialization of the NAM, which I'd rather not do if possible.
I am now sure that the second call is hitting the NAM if it's the prime set...
We're still stuck with the original problem. Does anyone know what the proper workaround is for this thing to answer more than one call per line?
Is there a troubleshooting feature like a call trap to find why these are going where they do?
