hawks, I think you may be right. The only docs that show calling in through the AA are the CICS docs. Of course they don't mention the part about the AA having to be the internal AA. Most of our customers use CICS but with Call Pilots instead of the internal AA. Thanks.

With only one pair there you could only make calls in one direction. Most likely using DISA on one end and LS/DS on the other. With 2 pair you could make 1 E&M ckt (E&M on each end) and could make 1 call in either direction. But with 2 pairs I would (and have) use a T1 with xover cable.
