    Incomin calls get connected together

You can transfer a call to a busy user. (Busy = in another call) If they have a free CA, you can call the user, they get notified by a not-so-loud beep, and you are waiting for answer in the same manner as a direct call. If they hang up, your call will ring immidietly. The User button defined...

    Incomin calls get connected together

I have a Monitor trace of it happening before i upgraded the IPO to 7.0.31. Is this Ok? I really dont want to post it public here, too many phonenumbers til censor :) I tried reading it, but i have no chance of dekoding whats happening there. It happens about once a day, in between 200 calls...

    Incomin calls get connected together

They had 2 CA buttons, but I made it 3 in the process of eliminating errors here. Didnt help. They do not press Transfer more than twice, but when transfering to a user already busy in a call, you have to press the left screen button 2 or 3 times. (Once to actually call (only when receiving...

    Incomin calls get connected together

Upgraded it last night, but less than 2 hours into the day, it happens again. Incoming caller get transfered, and suddenly talks to someone else that called in to the IPO. I will tell the customer to hang up, instead of pressing transfer the second time, but I really dont that will help, its...

    Incomin calls get connected together

I just tried, but no, I have to press 2-3 times on left screen button. If I press transfer, user button and hang up, the call is still present on the phone. Afer about 10 sec the phone reminds you of the call hanging there. OTT is not enabled. (Testing on another IPO loaded with customer...

    Incomin calls get connected together

This problem does seem to only occur when transfering a call to another user when the receiving user is busy, and you have to press 2 or 3 times on left screen-button when transfering to busy user.

    Incomin calls get connected together

No analog extensions, only digital (1416 as stated above). No anser time is actually 95 when i checked, not 91. I will try an upgrade. I do now hade a Monitor log of this happening, but that is way to heavy for me to analyze. Why is no answer time at 91 a problem, with transfer return at 90...

    Incomin calls get connected together

Hello I have a problem with a IPO. When an user receives an incoming call, they transfer it to another internal extension, which is busy, but have a 90 second transfer return time, and 91 second no answer time. The transfered call is waiting for up to 90 seconds here. But if the user who...

    Dial on Pickup, long silence?

The long wait is caused by the public phone switch, and cant be solved. When changing ?D to dial internally it works fine. Basicly I need the IPO to fake the tone. The long wait is a combination of several things, about 1 second for the IPO to dial external, 1-2 sec for public switch to route...

    Dial on Pickup, long silence?

Hi I have an analogue extension with ?D set in shortcode to dial when the handset is lifted. This is a public phone, and it dials a number which goes to a cellphone used by the receiptionist. When lifting the handset, it takes 5-10 seconds before you hear the tone indicating that you are...

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

Yeah, its not in use yet. I dont mind wiping the IPO, but I really dont want to do the DECT/AIWS setup again. Ill delete the users and see if everything works then. But thats for monday, now its weekend :)

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

Still have the same error on all the other extensions I have twinned. Will probably be solved by deleting the secondary extn. Sorry for bad explaining, not native English and limited experience with IPO. Explaining was a lot easier using the term "primary" and "secondary" extension. Thanks...

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

Deleted the primary user, cold rebooted the IPO, recreated the primary user and the twinning, and now it works as amriddle01 exlplained! Even the VM messages arrive like they should. Gotta do some more testing. (Didnt do any changes to the secondary user).

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

    306. Dialing 306 on the primary phone also gives me VM. (When doing a normal call, not trying to transfer).

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

You can call 102 and both will ring, if you answer with the DECT you can then transfer back to the primary device by transferring to 102, if however you answered on the 1608 you need to transfer to the DECT by tranferring to 306.Nobody else apart from the Primary user (1608) can call or transfer...

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

Eh, of course nothings duplicated, but when 306 is twinned to 102, 306 acts if is 102. (And therefore it could be a possibility that 306 (twinned to 102), would ring when dialing 102 on the real 102 phone. But, no, it doesnt.

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

Yeah, but the twinned phone is also 102 :) I give up, sending an request to Avaya, asking if this is a new feature or an error. You can transfer from DECT to 1608, just not the other way.

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

306 is twinned with 102 :) You can never call 306, thats right. But you can call 102 and pick up the call on 306 (isnt that why we twin them? :) You can also transfer from 306 to 102, using R102H from the 3720. But you can not transfer to either 102 or 306 from the 1608. Ideally you should be...

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

102 is main, 306 is twinned. I can answer on 306 and transfer to 102, using R102 Hang up. I can not transfer from 102 to 306, (not even when calling 102 which is twinned with 306).

Internal Twinning, call transfer between phones.

I can use the 3720 to do a normal transfer to 102, but i cant use the 1608 to do a normal transfer to the same number. Maximum number of calls is set to 2. Tlpeter: how do you think I can transfer from the 1608 to the 3720? (Transfer - 102 - Transfer goes to VM). R102 - Hang up works on the...
