I figured this one out. We did a full back up(clear archive bit) of the data during the day. And restored the same data to the new server during the same day. Immediately after business hours we ran a differential copy against the current data to the data we already moved to the new server...

Look in your //arcserverpath/temp directory. If there are a bunch of .cat files than the merge was almost successful. It grabbed the data, it just didnt put it in the database. Go to the command prompt at your arcserver directory and run "mergecat". Watch the .cat files disapear...

HI, my guess would be that your database is corrupted. Have you been running the maintenance utilities on a regular basis? If not you should run them immediately and see just how bombed your database is... If it is hosed beyond fixing you might want to initialize it and start from scratch.
