The store.exe is notorious for memory leakage. You can overnight setup a start and stop of the IMS which usually cures the error. also antivirus email scanning software has been known to cause this fault. Check with your AV supplier to see if any patches are available for this error. The...

how to install IIS on NT 4.0 machine?

to create space and increase performance move your swap file to drive d leaving a 2Mb swap file on drive c. Ensure that the max and min settings are the same on drive d. They should be 1.5 * memory. thebassplayer (MCSE, MCT)

    Changing Client Authentication

typing winmsd will give you your logon server (network tab) You could use the LMHOST file to pre cache the logon servers but this is not recommended. I cannot think of a valid reason why you would need to control the logons in this way. Thebassplayer (MCSE, MCT)

    DHCP Messed up

DHCP cannot give out the same address to two different systems. You must have a static or reserved lease on one of them. Check the reservations section in the scope to ensure that addresses in there are not included in the scope.

can you ping the BDC by name and IP. Remember that it can take up to 45 mins for the Master Browser (PDC) to send the browse list to the 98 clients. THis does not stop you using the BDC's. Thebassplayer (MCSE, MCT)
