After reinstall of Win 98 SE when trying to install NortonAntivirus 2003 Professional from CD, receiving error:
NAV Auto Protect
"Unable to determine the location of the virus definition files'
then another one;
"The Norton Antivirus AutoProtect Driver could not be loaded.Your system is not protected from viruses'

Try feu times uninstall/reinstall but useless.

As I am abituated with Norton Antivirus would like to have this system on my PC, but don't know how to solve this problem.
Any advice and assistance , please

you will need to get the Norton regisrty fix from their web site to completly remove the program then reinstall. The uninstall option leaves things behind in the registry that if corrupted will not allow new installations to work correctly. Contact Symantec tech support they are very good and will help.
